i will not be happy until everyone in this world is happy. even though sometimes when im with you, i feel like im the luckiest+happiest person in the world, theres always a tiny spot in my heart that is not happy. how can one be happy when there are people, maybe just some blocks from your home, laying on the ground in the night, having nowhere to stay. there are people in the desert, dieing of thirst and 2miles away people spend millions of dollars in casinos.."trying their luck". TRYING. arent they happy that they earn a living, why do they have to spend millons of dollars to "have fun". im neither saying that they are not good people or egoistic, nor that they dont deserve to have "fun". but arent there other ways to have fun?
what do you think makes homeless people really happy? the same stuff that makes us happy? what makes us happy? when we e.g. see friends that we havent seen for a long time, homeless people would feel the same way as we do in this case. theoratically speaking, we tend to get happy about many material stuff too these times. just think about yourself, wouldnt you be really happy if you "needed" new clothes and you got all of the ones you wanted? "needed" in this case, meaning: in our opinion. not the one of the homeless. do you think they would really care if they got a oversized-batwing-sequin-boyfriend-look-long-sweater? they wouldnt. do you think they would care if they got a caramel-latté, a moccha-latté or a vanilla-latté? or maybe those on ice? we are standing in front of starbucks, thinking of what to get for 5minutes, when we're in there we think of what to get, and when you order what you want, you realize you want sth different. and you want to eat the chocolate-double-ruffle-cuffle-praliné-chocolate-chip-muffin, too. you are not hungry at all, but whatever, you have 4bucks left so you buy it, just because you want to eat something. im not saying that im not like this. this is just how we people are. of course it varies from one to another. i gotta go, have to decide of WHAT TO WEAR TOMORROW.
